Salem Botanicals was established in the early 90's. In the early 2000's, we built our first full-scale growing and milling facility, complete with a state-of-art microbiology lab, in southern New Jersey in order to have better control over processing and blending of the herbs used in our botanicals... We consistently check for proper growing conditions, such as soil quality, to ensure that the active ingredients in our products reach their peak. To secure the safety of our products, herbs are chosen at random for quality and testing, which includes testing for micro-bacteria and heavy metals such a s lead, mercury, and arsenic. The herbs are also tested for over 200 pesticides, to assure you, our customer, of quality active constituents, incomparable freshness, flavor, and aroma.
