Dr. Kati Lackovic

Dr. Kati Lackovic was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended Mary Our Queen Grade school and later went to Skutt Catholic High School with her husband, Bobby. She received her BA of Science in Animal Science at Iowa State University in 2010. Kati then became a part of the UNL/ISU Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine completing her first 2 years of study at UNL in Lincoln, Nebraska and the last two years at ISU in Ames, Iowa - ultimately completing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from ISU in 2014. Dr. Lackovic then moved home to Omaha to practice veterinary medicine on small animals for 7 years. During that time, she and Bobby got married, had two kids (Alana and Luka), and three dogs (Layla - deceased, Lulu, and Leni).

Dr. Trenton Shrader

Dr. Trenton Shrader attended Kansas State University for both his undergraduate and doctorate degrees, graduating in 2015. He then completed post-doctoral training programs in zoo, exotic, and wildlife medicine, first for one year at the University of Saskatchewan and then an additional year at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. He continues to practice zoological medicine as the Medical Director at the Lincoln Children's Zoo in Lincoln, NE. Dr. Shrader's professional passion outside of vet medicine is wildlife conservation work. Dr. Shrader regularly travels around the world to contribute to the conservation of wild animals, wild place, and to present conservation medicine research to biologists and conservationists. Originally from Elmwood, Nebraska, Dr. Shrader has lived in Lincoln since 2017. When he is not providing quality veterinary medicine, Dr. Shrader loves spending time with his family and friends, especially his wife Karen and his dogs, Zeke, Charlie, and Ella. In his spare time, he enjoys playing board games and watching sports - especially the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hannah Strain

My name is Hannah Strain, I've been working in veterinary medicine for 3 years now. I'm currently in the veterinary technician program. I am proud to work in this field to help and care for animals. I also love working with exotics, which has also been a passion of mine for years. I currently have two lovable animals of my own: an Australian Shephard named Aspen and a Blue Tongue Skink named Mac. Outside of work I enjoy hiking, camping, and going on walks with my dog. I'm so excited to be apart of this team!

Jennifer Brown

Two years ago I had the opportunity to leave human healthcare for veterinary, and I've never looked back. My significant other Nate, son Tatum and daughter Paxton all share my same passion for pets. We have two Great Danes- Stella and Scout, as well as an adorable mutt Remi. I am a hopeless pet "rescue" addict and have to constantly be told no to taking in any and every needy case.

Sarah Campbell

I'm Sarah Campbell, a veterinary technician from Papillion, NE. I've been working in veterinary medicine for about 7 years and have a special love for critical care and birds! I received my Associates of Applied Science from NCTA in 2021 and Bachelor's degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from UNL in 2022. I love to spend my free time painting, hiking, and making pottery. I'm so excited to be a part of this amazing team!
