Raised in Croatia, I started traveling around the world for work at the age of 22. This gave me a great opportunity to experience some of the most amazing tasting food and I found my ways into cooking classes and restaurant kitchens from Italy, South Africa, UK, France to Australia and Asia. At the encouragement of my now husband and his friends, I started a micro catering business in Europe and the West Coast and that is how I discovered my passion for cooking, tablescaping and entertaining... I currently live in the US with my husband, McLean, and our German Shepherd, Grizzie. We have two large gardens where we grow our organic vegetables and over 70 dahlias as well as other herbs and flowers...
