It is undoubtedly the most emblematic spirit drink in Mexico, becoming an important part of the country's culture. The tequila, to be named as such, must be made by an authorized tequila producer that operates within the protected territory of the Appellation of Origin that includes 181 municipalities of 5 states of the Mexican Republic.
