Hobbies: Studying and self-improvement (I'm slightly obsessed!), hiking, reading, traveling, horse riding, pliates and drinking red wine!... My top five values in life (in no particular order) are: Family, Achievement, Travel, Career, Partner... I was born to teach (too cheesy?). I knew from a very young age I wanted to be a secondary English teacher. I loved books and stories, writing and reading them and I just loved getting lost in another world. While my friends struggled with career options, I had it easy. I knew where I was going and how to get there. School, College, University (travel and fun for a few years while teaching Business English) then back to Uni and on to my teaching career. I was delighted. I loved it…I still do. Helping someone learn, be it a child or another teacher I love it, it makes me feel alive (definitely too cheesy, right?) it's the truth! I didn't love the long hours though, endless marking, stress or not enough time with my child.
