Mr. McCarty is a construction and real estate professional with over 24 years of experience focusing on project management, establishing architectural and engineering design standards and development of property management policies and procedures. Mr. McCarty joined UBSL in 2016. Prior to joining UBSL, Mr. McCarty worked in project management at an environmental consulting firm, at Turner Construction company, and as a Vice President of Construction & Sustainability for a major New York City owner / developer.
Brendan currently oversees UBSL business operations, client interaction, and general policy and procedures. He also oversees UBSL's business development and leads the efforts to improve UBSL's operational efficiency.

Hatim has over 20 years of experience in design, managing projects, field engineering and inspections. His expertise includes supervision of field inspection teams, overseeing construction, underpinning, foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steel as well as verification of materials, approval of contractor payments, review and approval of daily inspection reports, RFI's, change orders, participation in construction progress meetings and coordination. He is familiar with NYC Building Codes and requirements. Hatim is also proficient in CAD and multiple design software
John is a leader in fire protection and life safety with over 15 years' experience working with corporate, institutional, and government clients in New York City, nationally, and abroad.
He is an expert in code consulting, performance-based design, and fire protection. John has worked on over 250 projects in the aviation, commercial real estate, cultural, energy, industrial, hospitality, residential, science, and transport industries. He is also the leading expert in fire safety for modular construction.
John is Past President of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, New York, and also serves on code development committees for New York City, the International Code Council, and the National Fire Protection Association. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York and Connecticut.
