Amanda Donnelly

Dr. Donnelly is a graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri, Columbia. She has an MBA from Baker University and she holds a certificate in Veterinary Practice Administration from the AAHA Veterinary Management Institute (VMI) at Purdue University. Dr. Donnelly is the author of 101 Practice Management Questions Answered available from AAHA. Dr. Donnelly is a frequent speaker at veterinary conferences and was named Practice Management Speaker of the Year for the 2007 and 2013 NAVC.

Dana formed VEN in 2010 when she saw a need to help DVMs and the veterinary world after a career working in both human and veterinary science. Dana Rhoden, CMP, CMM is the founder of Veterinary Education Network (VEN) in Dallas, TX She formed VEN to provide DVM business owners the tools and resources to help them be better business owners. She has been in the healthcare and animal welfare industries for over 25 years producing and developing accredited continuing education for physicians. Dana is a sought after speaker specializing in topics such as using special events, media relations, fundraising and community outreach as a marketing tool. She was named the International Meeting Professional of the Year and has won a number of leadership and public relations awards. She serves on a number of boards in leadership roles.

Dr. Valarie Tynes

Dr. Valarie Tynes is a native of Fort Worth Texas. She attended Texas A&M University and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She has worked in private practice, both as an associate, a relief veterinarian and a practice owner. Her special interests have always included animal behavior problems, miniature pigs and other exotic pets. She completed her residency in Clinical Animal Behavior at the University of California at Davis in 2003. She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists and a frequent speaker at professional meetings around the world. She has authored numerous articles and chapters on the care of miniature pet pigs in addition to a variety of other behavior related topics. She is the editor of the recently published book The Behavior of Exotic Pets. She currently provides consulting services for zoos, pharmaceutical companies, veterinarians and pet owners.

Edward Koronowski

Cornell University, B.S.Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine D.V.M.Since 1994 Dr. Koronowski has been a veterinarian in small animal, mixed animal, large animal exclusive, equine exclusive, and regulatory medicine practices. He still practices on weekends as a State Racing Commission Veterinarian for the State of Maryland, when needed for thoroughbred race meets such as the Preakness.He comes to Ceva Animal Health after 5 years with Abbott Animal Health serving the mid-atlantic and U.K. regions as their Veterinary Service Manager.Ed is from upstate NY where he and his family operated a small cow calf beef herd, had huge gardens and found time to become an Eagle Scout with three of his older brothers.He enjoys teaching and relaying information to veterinarian and technicians in all venues.He enjoys night owl hockey leagues and supporting the Maryland Special Olympics by participating in the Polar Bear Plunge.Maryland has been his home for the past 10 years. More specifically the Chesapeake Bay is, as his home is his boat, The Mudskipper.

Elisa is a marketing expert with over 22 years of hands-on marketing, with 10 of those years solely dedicated to serving the veterinary industry.

Lore I. Haug

Dr. Haug graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. In 2002, she completed a Master's Degree and residency program in animal behavior at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She ran the Animal Behavior Service at Texas A&M from 2002-2007 and then move to Sugar Land, TX to begin a private referral practice. Dr. Haug speaks frequently across the country at veterinary and animal behavior venues, with an emphasis on canine, feline, and equine behavior. Dr. Haug also has a special interest in neurobiology, behavior modification, and pharmacology. She has published articles in several veterinary journals and is a co-author of a canine behavior book currently in press for the dog owning public. She is currently the President Elect of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists and is a long standing member, and past Chair, of the ACVB Examination Committee. Dr. Haug is also a certified consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers.

Maya Barfield

Dr. Barfield is Veterinary Education Network (VEN) medical director and brings a wealth of experience as it relates to private practice and regulatory science in the veterinary space. She oversees the oversight and assurance of integrity related to VEN scientific programs. Dr. Barfield's career began as a private practitioner in a dynamic practice in the Maryland-DC metropolitan area owned (via acquisition) by Veterinary Centers of America (VCA). She was eventually elevated to Medical Director and served as medical director of a VCA hospital in Bowie, Maryland. In 2001 Dr. Barfield relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana and joined Elanco Animal Health (Elanco). Dr. Barfield worked in regulatory science and help in the early development and regulatory filing of Reconcile a key companion animal product for Elanco. In 2005, Dr. Barfield relocated to Texas and continues her passion and love for animals through doing relief work in her community. She is married with four daughters and two cats and is a longstanding member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Dallas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Barfield received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Tuskegee University and is licensed to practice in both Texas and Indiana.

Robin Downing

She was the third veterinarian to earn the Diplomate credential in the American Academy of Pain Management (a human pain management organization), and the first veterinarian to earn the designation Certified Pain Educator from the American Society of Pain Educators, a second human pain management credential.
