WALK IN GEAR

Exercise has been in my routine for years now. Walking was an occasional part of it when prompted by a friend. However, after the 2020 pandemic hit walking became an essential part of my daily routine. Along with the stress of the pandemic came a stagnant environment, the political chaos of our country, the injustice in our judicial system, and typical family woes made it essential for me to get out and walk to maintain my sanity. I didn't realize I'd gain so much more. My mental, physical and spiritual being was enhanced from these walks. In the process of walking I sought the direction of God. I became intentional about renewing my mind daily. I prayed, "Speak Lord, I'm listening". He answered those prayers and spoke to my heart and spirit. He spoke through His glorious nature daily.
