WHYBURN FARMS

Originally bought and established by Thomas Whyburn in 1888 the land use has steadfastly remained agricultural, including raising cattle, growing crops, growing feed for cattle, and the ever-present bees that are very much part of the Denton County landscape. The Whyburn Trusts continue to ensure that agricultural uses remain on all of the lands under their ownership. Today's agricultural uses on the Whyburn lands include the same activities undertaken by Thomas Whyburn over a century ago: cattle grazing, crop and hay production, and supporting bees for honey and pollination purposes
