NURSERY

In 2020 we opened our new retail building at the Nursery, here in Franklin, which is home to houseplants, tools, and gifts, in addition to our diverse range of quality plants and farm produce. In 2021, we dedicated ourselves to increasing our range of native plants; an important part of our mission to support our local ecosystems... Our farm team sells their fresh harvested seasonal produce at the nursery, as well as seasonal spring and fall vegetable plants starts... The Mountain Farm (a private residence) is less than a mile from the Appalachian Trail and sits on the Nantahala River. We began the whole shebang here, which is now mostly devoted to pasture for sheep and poultry. One acre is set aside for some vegetable production. This location is also home to our new grist mill.
