As a long-practicing cosmetic and plastic surgery professional, Dr. Baranwal is a board-certified plastic and cosmetic surgeon in Varanasi, India. He has worked at Indian Railways Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Lahartara, Varanasi for over 10 years as a visiting consultant and besides this; Dr. Baranwal also works as a consultant at Singh Medical Research Center, Maldahiya, Varanasi. He did MBBS from B.R.D. Medical College, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and then advanced further to outshine in M.S. (surgery) and M.Ch. (plastic surgery) from Ahmedabad University of Gujarat. Dr. Baranwal developed an interest in plastic and reconstructive surgery while on a rotatory placement during his second-year residency of General Surgery under direction of Dr. P. K. Bilwani at L. G. General Hospital, Seth K. M. School of Postgraduate Medicine & Research, Ahmedabad in 2000 in Burns and Plastic Surgery Department. In 2004, he worked with Dr. Hemen Jaju at Gujarat Cancer Research Institute Ahmedabad where he was involved in reconstruction of head and neck distortion. From February to July 2005, he worked as Registrar (with Dr. Raja Sabapathy) at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore Tamil Nadu which is a reputable centre for Hand and Microsurgery. He also worked as consultant in plastic surgery subdivision with Dr. R. K. Khazanchi from Aug. 2005 to Nov. 2006 at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi where a number of aesthetic (cosmetic) processes like breast augmentation and reduction, Rhinoplasty Blepharoplasty, face lift etc. were done regularly. Dr. Prashant holds colossal expertise in plastic and cosmetic surgery. He has implemented thousands of procedures remarkably.
