Susanne has over 20 years' post-qualification experience. Prior to founding Wellesley Law, she has gained vast experience working in law firms in the City of London and in central London acting for a wide range of commercial clients including public limited companies and private limited companies, and has spent a number of years spent acting for property developers in the acquisition of development sites.
She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in different types of non-contentious landlord and tenant cases, commercial property sales and acquisitions, lease enfranchisements, business sales and acquisitions and property development and commercial law.
Prior to setting up Wellesley Law, she has acted for a number of clients in the hospitality sector. Since then, that area has really taken off. She now regularly receives instructions from independent operators, franchisors and franchisees, high end and casual dining operators and has helped with to launch numerous restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars. Her knowledge and expertise over the years, not just in the hospitality sector, have given her an understanding of what it takes to set up a new site and she works with her clients in a pragmatic way to achieve the end goal.
