Eric Tennyson

Eric Tennyson is the Director of Information Systems at Aegis Aerospace. He previously served in management for NASA's Constellation Program and has led numerous technology and security projects over the years. Eric has 20+ years of professional experience in Information Systems across various industries and earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Houston Clear Lake. Eric volunteers his time for a local church and assists with technology planning and procurement. He also serves on the Galloway School Board in Friendswood, TX.

Jacque Malota

Jacque Malota is Aegis Aerospace's Director of Contracts, Pricing and Project Control. Within this role, she negotiates and administers contracts and agreements; and oversees pricing, program control and corporate budgeting. With over a decade of service to Aegis Aerospace and its subsidiaries, she previously served as Director of Business Operations at Alpha Space Test and Research Alliance (a wholly owned subsidiary of Aegis Aerospace, Inc.). Prior to Aegis Aerospace, Ms. Malota was a banking and financial consultant for high net worth clients. Ms. Malota holds a bachelor of science from Texas A&M University.

Karen Todd - Secretary, Treasurer

As the Treasurer/Corporate Secretary, Ms. Todd has general oversight over financial, compliance, and governance matters and supports the Board of Directors. She has been with Aegis Aerospace for 20 years, having previously served as CFO, responsible for the accounting, finance, program control, contracts, human resources and information systems departments. Prior to that, she served as the company Controller. She also serves on the Board of AMB Technologies, LLC. Ms. Todd has over 40 years of experience in the accounting profession, including nine years in public accounting with KPMG and BKD, and over 25 years in government contracting. Ms. Todd graduated from the University of Houston with a BBA in Accounting and earned her CPA license working at KPMG following graduation.

Mark M. Gittleman - Chief Strategy Officer

As CSO, Mr. Gittleman is responsible for leading, guiding, and assisting with the company's long-term growth as a full-service space and defense company. Prior to this role, he served as the company's first President and CEO, leading the process of combining Alpha Space and MEI Technologies into a single, integrated company, and setting its strategic course. Before the merger, he was the Alpha Space President and CEO. Prior to joining Alpha Space, Mr. Gittleman was Executive Vice President for Intuitive Machines (IM), a lunar system and spacecraft developer. Before IM, Mr. Gittleman was a long-time executive with Oceaneering International, Inc. He was one of the founders of Oceaneering Space Systems (OSS) and was later its vice president and general manager for 13 years. He also led Oceaneering's deepwater drilling and production controls products group four years as the group vice president. He started his career as a hard hat construction diver in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Gittleman serves on several advisory boards, including the Subsea Valley Technology Cluster in Oslo, Norway; the University of Houston, Clear Lake College of Science and Engineering; and the Bay Area Economic Partnership (BAHEP) executive board. Mr. Gittleman was awarded NASA's Public Service Medal for his significant contributions as co-chair of Johnson Space Center's Joint Leadership Team and has received numerous other recognitions and rewards. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a patent for the robotic harvesting of solids from liquids, and he is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas.

Mark Shumbera

Mark Shumbera is responsible for Aegis Aerospace's Space Testing as a Service (STaaS)TM line of business, including its commercial low earth orbit MISSE platform on the ISS and its lunar platforms. Previously, Mr. Shumbera was General Manager for Commercial Development at MEI Technologies, Inc., and between 2006 and 2019 he was president of AM Biotechnologies, LLC until the successful sale of the company. Mr. Shumbera received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston Clear Lake. He is a recipient of the NASA Astronaut's Personal Achievement Award (Silver Snoopy).

Matt Carter

Matt Carter serves as the Vice President of Systems Development Services, delivering turnkey spaceflight system & product development solutions. He grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil before he moved to Houston, Texas. Matt has a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master's Degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Texas, and is a certified Project Management Professional. Matt has over twenty-five years of combined experience in the Aerospace and Oil / Gas industries. Eighteen of those years were spent in Aerospace, where he worked in a wide variety of roles including Engineering Design Lead on the Delta IV Launch Vehicle, Payload Manager for multiple Space Shuttle / Space Station missions, and Manager of the Orion Spacecraft Landing & Recovery Systems.

Matthew R. Berg

Matt Berg is charged with the quality of our processes, procedures, designs, manufacturing and assembly, certification and testing, as well as the health and safety of our employees. Matt began his aerospace career in 1997 as a United States Air Force officer. After 12 years of service, Matt began a 14-year career in both the oil and gas and electronics assembly industries where he worked as a project manager, operations manager, production manager, and as a facility and global quality manager. He also works as an adjunct professor teaching Operations & Supply Chain Management as well as Business Strategy at the University of Houston's Downtown Campus College of Business. Mr. Berg is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and holds a Master of Science in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle as well as an MBA from the University of Miami.

Michael G. Engers

Michael G. Engers serves as the Vice President of Business Development and reports directly to the company President. In this role, Michael will continue to shape our strategy, drive profitable growth, and improve our win rate across Aegis Aerospace core capabilities including Systems Engineering & Integration Services, Information Warfare Solutions, Human Health & Performance, and Space Applications while building and expanding our relationships with NASA, DoD, Commercial Customers and Services Partners. Michael joins us with 25 years of experience in aerospace, defense and space sectors leading Business Development & Strategy for complex systems & equipment at Parker Aerospace and Woodward Inc., and large airframe structures at Triumph Group Inc. Originally from Chicago, Michael has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University and MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Business.

Patty Stoll

Patty is the Senior Vice President of Space and Defense Services for customers including NASA, the United States Air Force, the United States Space Force, Missile Defense Agency, and the United States Army. Patty graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1996 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Upon graduation, she was commissioned to the United States Marine Corps and in 2000 deployed with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Persian Gulf participating in the Australian-led Operation Stabilise, providing assistance to the people of East Timor. Upon leaving the Marine Corps, Patty joined Lockheed Martin as a Space Environment Simulation Test Director. In 2005, she joined ILC Dover, while earning her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. Patty last served as the President of ILC Dover's Space Systems Division, where she oversaw the delivery of spacesuits and space inflatable habitats to NASA and the commercial space industry.

Sandra Stanford - CHRO

Sandra Stanford is responsible for Aegis Aerospace's human resources strategy and programs. She has over 30 years of proven human resources experience, including 20 years in the NASA JSC community. She is a trusted leader that promotes the company's core values in support of all Aegis Aerospace employees. Before joining Aegis Aerospace, Ms. Stanford was the Director of Human Resources for SPACEHAB, Inc. She also held a variety of human resources positions of increasing responsibility for Allied Signal Technical Services Corporation. Ms. Stanford earned a Bachelor of Administration degree in Government and Business from the University of Texas at Austin. She is also SHRM-CP and PHR certified.

Stephanie Murphy - Chairman

Stephanie Murphy is the principal owner, CEO and Executive Chairman of the Board of Aegis Aerospace, Inc., which she formed in 2021 by combining her companies, MEI Technologies, Inc. (MEIT) and Alpha Space Test and Research Alliance, LLC. Ms. Murphy founded the commercial space company Alpha Space in 2015 and acquired MEIT, a space and defense tech company founded in 1992, in 2019. Alpha Space developed MISSE, the first woman-owned facility in space, and was the first company to sign a Reimbursable Commercial Space Act Agreement for the International Space Station. Ms. Murphy currently serves on the Board of Directors for Space Center Houston; Board of Managers for AM Biotechnologies, LLC and Diosa Procurement, LLC; and is the President-Elect of the Board of Directors for the Aggie Women Network. She is an ambassador to Leadership Texas, a member of the Johnson Space Center Joint Leadership Team; a Houston Council member of the non-profit GirlStart; and a Founding Board Member and Co-Chair for the Bay Area Chapter of the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Murphy holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University. She was awarded NASA's Exceptional Technology Achievement Medal and nationally recognized by Women in Aerospace as the Leadership Award recipient in 2019. HENAAC's Great Minds in STEM (GMiS) named Ms. Murphy Entrepreneur of the Year in 2020.

Stuart White

Stuart White serves as Aegis Aerospace's Controller. In this role, Stuart is responsible for the Company's Accounting and Financial Reporting functions. Prior to joining Aegis Aerospace, Stuart held financial leadership positions at KBR, L3Harris and Lockheed Martin and has supported numerous key programs for the U.S. Army, NASA and the U.S. Air Force. Over the course of his career, he has led many business transformation initiatives including acquisition integration, accounting system modernization and restructuring. Stuart has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Houston, is a CPA and an alumnus of PwC.

William (Bill) Hollister - President

Bill Hollister serves as the company's President. Prior to this role, he served as the VP of Space & Defense Services, responsible for Aegis Aerospace's portfolio of Space and Defense Services programs. Previously, he served as Program Director of the Extravehicular Activity Space Operations Contract (ESOC), which provided NASA the capability to conduct spacewalks from the International Space Station and Space Shuttle. Mr. Hollister later oversaw programs to develop and sustain systems that provide life support, environmental control, power generation, and mechanical actuation for human-rated spacecraft and undersea vehicles. From 1984 to 2010, he served in a variety of roles on the Space Shuttle Program. Mr. Hollister earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He is the recipient of the NASA Astronaut's Personal Achievement Award (Silver Snoopy), and the NASA Outstanding Public Leadership Medal.
