AEVA is a biotech company, aiming at addressing unmet medical needs, with multimodal molecular diagnostic approaches. The acronym of the name stands for Advanced Extracellular Vesicle Applications, pointing out the idea of exploiting extracellular vesicles to identify innovative clinical applications and to advance liquid biopsy testing... AEVA is a biotech spin-off of the University of Trento (Italy), incubated at the Department of Cellular, Computational and Integrative Biology, where a new method of EVs isolation was discovered and optimized, opening up possibilities for a diagnosis at an unprecedented level of sensitivity and accuracy... We aim at a precise and early diagnosis ultimately leading to a better disease outcome, starting from blood withdrawal as input material, a minimally invasive procedure.
