Dr Sibanda holds a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pretoria specialising in polymers and chemical product design. He has completed research stints in Germany mainly at the Martin Luther University in Halle (Saale) and the Institute for Polymer Research in Dresden. He has spent 12 years developing innovative malaria vector control interventions and published several papers in high impact peer reviewed journals on this subject. Dr Sibanda also holds a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from the University of South Africa and a post graduate diploma in general business management (PGDip) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). His primary focus is product development.

Dr Sthembile Sibanda is medical researcher has six years' experience in medical laboratories. She is a shareholder and director at AAC since 2019. She was a finalist awarded a full scholarship from Carl Zeiss for academic and research excellence (2016-2019). She holds a PhD in health sciences from University of Pretoria. Her focus at AAC is product design and packaging and managing staff. Her mission is to protect the wellbeing of people by offering solutions to protect people in public and private spaces and to transform people's lives for the better by reducing the spread of malaria in urban and rural areas.
