AI GUIDES - Key Persons

Jordi Torras has been an AI entrepreneur for nearly two decades, and is passionate about the transformative potential of artificial intelligence. He advises a range of companies and founders on how to make the best use of AI in their businesses or products. Most recently, he founded Inbenta, a global leader in AI using natural language processing, and took the company to a successful exit in 2022 after multiple funding rounds with leading VC firms in the US. He teaches AI and Machine Learning for Business at EADA Business School and is an alumni entrepreneur at the community of High-Impact Entrepreneurs Endeavor. He has an AI and Computer Science degree from the University of Barcelona (UAB) and an MBA with the Euro*MBA consortium. These days he splits his time between the US and Europe. When he has time for fun he plays bass guitar in a blues band!

Tristan Shaeen is an Al consultant with a background in experimental psychology, statics and cognitive science. He has worked with both government departments and small and medium sized enterprises, providing insights into applications of analytic techniques and AI tools for operations and decision support. He specializes in data presentation, data storytelling and social science statistical training.
