Beth McDonald is the company's Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning, Field Development and Marketing, a position to which she was appointed in May 2023. Bonnie S. Black is the Senior Vice President of Technology and Operations Support for Pioneer Natural Resources. After her appointment to the position in December 2022, Bonnie's efforts are focused on managing Pioneer Technology Solutions, Supply Chain, and Health/Safety & Environmental teams, including strategic goal-setting; plan execution; capital allocation; environmental, social and governance (ESG) protocols; and sustainability principles. She is a member of the Pioneer Executive Committee. Prior to her current role, Bonnie served as Vice President of Drilling and led one of the largest oil and gas drilling programs in North America. Bonnie joined the company in 2007 as HSE Manager for the Alaska asset team. She then served as Vice President of Environmental and Sustainable Development from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Bonnie was named Vice President, Permian Well Planning & Permitting, playing a key role in the execution of the Permian development plan. With more than 25 years' experience in the oil and gas industry, Bonnie worked in client-facing environmental consulting roles in Texas, Oklahoma and Alaska before joining Pioneer. Bonnie holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a registered professional engineer with a specialization in Environmental Engineering. Gerardo Torres serves as Vice President, Permian Completions, for Pioneer Natural Resources, a position he has held since September 2015. Torres' team is responsible for designing and completing the company's new horizontal wells with an emphasis on ensuring safe, environmentally sound wells that perform at maximum capital efficiency. Torres joined the company in 2005 as an Operations Engineer. In 2007, Torres was promoted to Completions Manager and, for the next seven years, he held positions of increasing responsibility within the Completions team before being named to his current leadership role. Pioneer currently drills in the Permian Basin of West Texas, and Torres also led completions in previous regions, including the Gulf of Mexico, South Texas, West Panhandle and Alaska. John C. Distaso

Distaso has 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Pioneer in June 2012 as Vice President of Marketing, he held senior executive and managerial trading and marketing positions at Mobil Oil Corporation for 15 years and similar positions at Apache and Devon Energy. Distaso was most recently with Deloitte, working for the Minister of Petroleum in the Republic of South Sudan to market 300 MBOPD of crude, resulting in the country's first $3 billion of oil revenues. Distaso has experience in physical and paper trading, term and spot negotiations, cargo tanker shipping, transportation pipelines, processing facilities and storage operations. His experience encompasses all aspects of mid-stream and downstream marketing, and he has led multiple domestic and international Marketing departments. Rich Dealy has served as the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Pioneer Natural Resources since January 2021. In April 2023, Pioneer's Board of Directors named Dealy as the company's next Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2024. A thirty-year industry veteran, Dealy has contributed to the company's success in roles spanning nearly all operations and business functions at Pioneer and its predecessor company. As President and COO, Dealy has been pivotal to securing Pioneer's leading operational and financial position. During his tenure, Pioneer built one of the strongest investment grade balance sheets in the industry, became the largest oil producer in the State of Texas, had five consecutive years of operational efficiency improvements, and successfully integrated the acquisitions of Parsley Energy and Double Point Energy. Dealy helped create and execute the company's strategy to develop low-cost, low-emissions energy while bringing value to its shareholders, employees, and communities. Dealy served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from November 2004 through December 2020. Prior to that, he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer (February 1998 to November 2004), and Vice President and Controller (August 1997 to January 1998). Scott D. Sheffield is an energy industry leader who played significant roles in the American shale revolution and lifting of the U.S. crude oil export ban. He currently serves as CEO of Pioneer Natural Resources, the company he helped found in 1997 and grew into what is today: the second-largest crude producer in Texas. The son of an ARCO executive, Sheffield attended high school in Tehran, Iran. After graduating from the University of Texas, he began his career as a reservoir engineer with Amoco Production Co. In 1979, Sheffield became the fifth employee of Parker & Parsley Petroleum Co. in Midland, Texas. By 1985, he was CEO of Parker & Parsley and became its chairman in 1991. Under Sheffield's leadership, Parker & Parsley merged with MESA, Inc. in 1997 to form Pioneer Natural Resources Co. He became the company's founding CEO and assumed the position of chairman of the board in August 1999. Sheffield retired from the company in 2016, but he returned as President and CEO in 2019, began serving as CEO in 2021 and continues to serve on the Board. Sheffield also serves as a director of The Williams Companies, Inc., a provider of large-scale infrastructure for natural gas and natural gas products, on the advisory board of the Center for Global Energy Policy at Columbia University and on the Energy Council of CSL Capital Management, LLC, a private equity firm. The Permian Basin Petroleum Association recently honored Sheffield as the recipient of its prestigious Top Hand award, which recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership within the oil and gas industry and the Permian Basin community. He is also a 2013 inductee into the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum Hall of Fame, memorializing those whose achievements and outstanding contributions to the industry helped build the Permian Basin. Sheffield also received the Texas Oil & Gas Association's Distinguished Service Award, the ADL's Henry Cohn Humanitarian Award in Dallas, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Hope Award in Midland and the Frank Pitts Award for Energy Leadership from SMU. Sheffield is a distinguished graduate of the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.

Stacy Methvin became a Director of the company in July 2013. From 2011 until her retirement in 2012, Methvin was Vice President, Refining Margin Optimization, for Shell Oil Company ("Shell"). Prior to that, from 2009 until 2010, she served as Vice President, Global Distribution. Methvin also held various other operational and management roles in the upstream, downstream and chemical businesses during her tenure at Shell and its subsidiaries that began in 1979, including President, Shell Louisiana E&P Company, President, Shell Deer Park Refining Company, President Shell Pipeline Company LP, President, Shell Chemical LP, and Vice President, Strategy and Portfolio for the downstream business. Methvin graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Geological and Geophysical Sciences. She also currently serves on the boards of the general partner of Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P., a master limited partnership engaged in the transportation, storage and distribution of refined petroleum products and crude oil, and Marquard & Bahls AG, a Hamburg, Germany-based company that operates in the fields of energy supply, trading and logistics. Methvin's other board service includes the Houston Zoo and Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, and she is a trustee of the Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia. She has been an appointee on the Louisiana Governor's Advisory Commission on Coastal Protection, Restoration and Conservation since 2003.

Tadd Owens

Tadd Owens is the company's Vice President, Government and Public Affairs, a position to which he was appointed in May 2023. Owens is responsible for the company's government relations strategy at the local, state, and federal levels and community relations in North and West Texas, including the company's charitable giving program. Beginning in 2014, Owens served in positions of increasing responsibility, including Vice President, Government Affairs; Vice President, Communications and Government Affairs; and Vice President, Government and Public Relations. Prior to those roles, he served for three years as Director, Government Affairs, where he managed the company's government affairs work in Texas. He joined Pioneer in November 2006 as Director, Government & Public Affairs, for the company's Alaska division. Prior to joining Pioneer, he served for six years as the Executive Director of the Resource Development Council for Alaska, Inc., an Alaska business association representing the oil and gas, mining, timber, tourism, and fisheries industries. Owens graduated with honors from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Owens currently serves on the board of the Texas Oil and Gas Association.
