Aravind Medical Centre was established in the year 1991 at Chavara by Late Dr J Aravindan with the vision to serve the poor and needy people. Those days Chavara was a financially backward Village with large number of peopleworking in the field of fishing, agriculture, coir making and sand mining in mineral coast... Our Services include Multi bedded infrastructure comtaining General Wards, Ladies Wards, Individual and Sharing Rooms, Observation Wards, Operation Theatre and Intensive Care Unit. Our hospital is equipped with a Patient Helpdesk at the Reception facilitating help for new as well as old patients when needed.
