ASHA AUDIO COMMUNICATION - Key Persons

I am born & brought up in a joint family with 7 sisters, & a brother. In spite of being raised in a middle class family & going through financial struggle, my dreams & ambitions were always intact. With gradual steps I completed my graduation in 1983, from an average college. Then in 1984, I did a post-graduate diploma in Computer science. My sister was living in Mumbai and hence I shifted with her to pursue my first job in the Institute of Chartered Accountant in Mumbai as LDC. I worked for 3-1/2 months as temporary. But I was offered a permanent job in Central Government but I refused and joined a transport Company name, Coastal Roadways Ltd for 6 months. Then I started my career in CBS/PAN MUSIC/SONY around 12-1/2 years in Mumbai and Eastern Region. I got married meanwhile & after my marriage due to family matters I had to shift back to Kolkata. Both my wife & me joined CBS here and we both were really loved & honored for our work by everyone there. This motivated us to start something of our own & my wife's passion for music gave the idea an extra impetus. Then with the grace of Asha Ji, I along with my wife Late Mrs Mahua Lahiri started Asha Audio Company in 18th May 1995. Asha Audio reached great heights & we diverged into many forms of business from there under the umbrella of Asha group. Started Asha Communication in 1996 and Creative Media in 2010 and Asha Audio & Communication Private Limited in 2017. I had started very small & aspired to run business like I am now, but my undying optimism, passion & hard work has brought me here, along with the support of my wife.
