At a dance workshop, in a moment of unconscious abandon, my arms, controlled by what I have since only been able to describe as "electrical forces", moved throughout the space. In that moment I realised that in order to move, you have to do nothing... I am an authentic movement researcher and workshop facilitator. My research, focused on the factors that allow the emergence of movement, traces the process of disidentification from thought, which raises new concerns about the element to which one´s attention is redirected, among other aspects such as the readiness of the body, desire or surrender in a process of stillness...
