Mr. Wetherhold joined VDA in 2023 as Chief Information Officer. Before joining VDA, he served as Director of Information Technology with I.B. Abel, overseeing the IT landscape, including Infrastructure, ERP improvements, software development, and cyber security initiatives. Before I.B. Abel, Mr. Wetherhold spent 19 years at Intertek as the Director of Information Technology for the Building & Construction division, where he oversaw the IT systems for over 2,000 employees and a combined $400M+ a year in revenue.
For over 20 years, Mr. Wetherhold has led organizations through technology transformations that drive growth and increase efficiencies across the business. He is passionate about understanding business strategy and leveraging technology that supports achieving strategic goals and organizational objectives. Mr. Wetherhold is focused on creating efficiencies through automation and providing innovative, secure technical solutions that address the needs of the business and customer experience.
Mr. Barbre joined VDA in 2022 as an Associate in the Houston, TX office. He started his career in the elevator industry with Schindler Elevator in 2007, working all areas of the trade - construction, service, and modernization. He began his career as a consultant in 2019 with Barbre Consulting, Inc. after holding various positions within Schindler Elevator and Fujitec. He is a Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI), certified by Qualified Elevator Inspector Training Fund (QEITF). Mr. Barbre is involved in code compliance, evaluation, and modernization services.
Mr. Thomas joined VDA in February of 2017 with over 34 years of experience in the elevator industry. As an Associate for the Honolulu office he is responsible for all phases of Vertical Transportation Consulting for VDA's existing clients, primarily in Hawaii. He provides equipment and maintenance equipment evaluations, writes equipment and maintenance specifications for new and existing vertical transportation equipment, and provides services during the construction administration phase.
Prior to joining VDA, he co-founded Elevator Dynamics in 1990, where he served as Vice-President for over 23 years. In this role, he operationally managed projects and secured contracts for modernization and repair. At Elevator Dynamics, he also functioned as a journey-level mechanic, performing service, repair and modernization work. In 2013 KONE acquired Elevator Dynamics and retained Mr. Thomas as a Senior Sales of Modernization's, where he was responsible for bidding and securing modernization contracts in the Los Angeles area. He was a member of IUEC Local 18 for over 25 years, a State of CA Certified Competent Conveyance Mechanic for 12 years and held a State of CA C-11 Elevator Contractor License for 23 years.

Brian DeGolier joined VDA in 2016 as an Associate in the CAD Department. His responsibilities include supporting VDA consultants and architects with Vertical Transport Design information in AutoCAD.
Prior to VDA, Mr. DeGolier worked primarily as a Designer II with a competitor, specializing in providing design information for custom/special applications, international and mega-high rise vertical transport systems. Brian also worked as a project manager in the LB Materials Management/Materials Handling Group (3MH), specializing in new and existing domestic medical facilities. Provided clients with proposals, traffic analysis, specifications, reports, audits, and shop drawing review.

Mr. Pacheco joined VDA in 2013 as a Senior Associate with over 15 years of prior experience in the elevator industry. He is responsible for all phases of vertical transportation consulting including system analysis, project management, new installation, modernization, evaluations, maintenance specifications, equipment evaluations, and due diligence. In 2020, Mr. Pacheco was named Area Manger and is responsible for supervising branch operations, new business development, and client relations. In addition, he continues to provide all phases of Vertical Transportation Consulting Services.
