Andrew Singer - CFO

Andy is currently the Senior Director of Supply Chain Management at Boston Children's Hospital. For the last 15+ years, Andy has been helping hospitals and other healthcare organizations to better understand and control their costs. He specializes in restructuring Supply Chain organizations by recruiting top talent, implementing progressive systems, negotiating major contracts, and modernizing policies and procedures. Previously, he was Director of Supply Chain for a suburban teaching hospital in Connecticut and for a large New York City Integrated Delivery Network, as well as serving as Chief Financial Officer for a New Jersey-based healthcare consulting firm. Andy earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration from New York University's Wagner School of Public Service and holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.

Edward Hepler

Ed is a technology leader with a broad range of experience in product and embedded system specification, design, and implementation. He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, specializing in Digital Systems and Simulation, over 35 years of hands-on experience, and holds numerous patents. Ed began his professional career as a Member of Technical Staff in the Processor Design laboratory of Bell Laboratories where he helped design high reliability processors used for electronic switching systems. From Bell Labs, he moved to the Space Systems Division of General Electric (at Valley Forge, PA) where he participated in various hardware and software projects. Later he joined Commodore Business Machines where he developed chips for next generation Amiga machines. Ed joined InterDigital Communications (first as a consultant, then transitioned to an employee) where he held the position of Fellow (technical equivalent of Vice President), Embedded Systems Architecture. In this capacity, he provided the implementation architecture for 3G and 4G cellular modems (including InterDigital's SlimChip product). He also led a team that explored the use of "reconfigurable" computer architecture to implement a multi-mode (2G, 3G/R4, 3G/R7, LTE) modem. The team looked at all aspects of the modem across layers 1, 2, and 3, providing cross layer optimizations (including hardware support for the protocol stack). Ed is also an Adjunct Professor at Villanova University where he teaches courses in Digital Systems, Computer Architecture, and VLSI Design.

George Harris - CTO, Founder

George is a network engineer with a background in computer science. George manages a team of nine technical professionals that deliver support, guidance, planning, purchasing and integration of technology to seven school districts in Northern New Jersey. George is adept at delivering small-scale test environments via large-scale deployments, as his team supports 9,000 students and 1,000 staff members. His path with computers and engineering started in 1978, while working with his father in a structural engineering models laboratory and he has been fascinated with how things work ever since. His studies have taken him through Drexel University, and systems engineering certifications with 3COM, Cisco, Apple, Microsoft and, most recently, with EMC and VMWare.

Julia Harris

Julia is an Assistant Director with the Strategic Planning and Innovation Group at the Tennessee Division of Health Care Finance and Administration, which houses the state's Medicaid program. Julia has expertise in value-based payment and delivery system reforms, public and private health insurance Marketplaces, and the Affordable Care Act. She joined the State of Tennessee in January 2013 after working as a Senior Policy Analyst for the Kaiser Family Foundation in Washington DC, where she tracked and analyzed the implementation of federal health reform across states. Prior to that, she led a team of migrant and community health outreach workers for three years while working for a large Federally Qualified Health Center in South Jersey. She completed a Master of Public Health and a Master of International Affairs at Columbia University in 2011 and holds a Bachelor's Degree from Cornell University in Human Development.

NEIL SINGER - CEO

Neil is responsible for company strategy and day to day operations at Basil Leaf Technologies. In his leadership roles at midsize companies, divisions of Fortune 500s, and startups he has led technology teams, large and small, to bring new technology products to market. His 35 year career in technology has been focused on value creation for shareholders, customers, end users, and coworkers. Prior to his work at Basil Leaf Technologies, Neil served as CTO for LogistiCare (NASDAQ: PRSC), a leader in the healthcare and logistics field and CIO for Billtrust, a revolutionary FinTech company backed by Bain Capital and Goldman Sachs. Neil holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania.

Phil Charron

Phil is Sr. Vice President of Consulting & Talent at Think Company and a member of the company's leadership team. He has an MEd in Educational Media, a BA in English Literature from Temple University, and was an adjunct faculty member for the Digital Design program at Philadelphia University from 1996-2014. He has been consulting, teaching, writing and guest lecturing about experience design, data visualization, instructional design, and emerging media since 1992. Phil specializes in designing and developing interactive digital assets for highly regulated industries. Throughout his career, he has worked with clients in a wide range of industries including pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and finance. In recent years, he has been researching, analyzing and developing solutions to help healthcare professionals use digital tools in their clinical practice. He has also been working with clients to develop consistent data visualization techniques. Many of his projects involve the design and development of digital products.
