Allister Anderson

Job Titles:
  • Technical Manager
Academically qualified as Technician Engineer, (B-tech, mechanical and production engineer) and has worked with narrowboats for the last 7 years which was predominantly syndicate boats. Allister enjoys working for the benefit of others, is friendly and a man of Faith. He is very practical having been a project manager for 11 years. Allister is married to Fran who has her own business working in the 'Franchise' industry, he has a 23 year old son named Oliver who lives in Bristol. His hobbies involve crossword puzzles and getting outdoors.

Dee Barton

Job Titles:
  • Managing & Sales Director
Dee is the daughter of Andrew and Ann Barton. She has been an avid boater since being little and first took to the canals in 1994. As a family we only every holidayed on the canals on NB Arthur. Dee has always enjoyed the waterways and loves get to on board the boat, so much so she has a share in one of our BCBM boats. Dee has many interests including arts & Crafts, Geocaching and going out on her Motorbike. Dee can almost always be seen at BCBM events or in the Audlem office.

Mark Tittley

Job Titles:
  • Retired Chartered Engineer
  • Turnround Manager North West
Mark is a retired Chartered Engineer having worked at Rolls-Royce Plc in Derby for 35 years, starting with the Company as a Craft Apprentice in 1978. Both Mark and wife Jill are keen narrow boaters, having previously held a shared ownership in Benbow, Cropredy and Phoenix, along with having owned their narrowboat for 7 years. They now hold a shared ownership in Dawn Treader. Mark has extensively cruised the Trent and Mersey, Coventry, Oxford, Leicester Arm of the Grand Union, Shropshire Union and Staffs & Worcester canals, along with River Soar and the River Trent to Nottingham. Away from boating Mark is a volunteer Station Master at Rothley Station on the Great Central Steam Railway in Leicestershire.

Tracey Merrall

Job Titles:
  • Boat Management Administrator
Tracey's family have always been into narrow boats with her dad having built several boats one of these was even from scratch! Tracey also grew up around the canals. Now Tracey works in the Audlem office and with her knowledge of the canals is a great complement to the BCBM team.

Trevor Curson

Job Titles:
  • Area Manager Norfolk Broads
  • Richardson 's Pleasurecraft As an Apprentice Marine Engineer
Born and bred in Norfolk, Trevor Curson joined Richardson's Pleasurecraft as an apprentice Marine Engineer, going on to work for May Gurney all over the Broads as a Marine Engineer and Plant Fitter for the next 16 years. In 1992, he went into partnership running a successful building business employing 11 people at one point. Now semi-retired, he joined us last year and his knowledge and experience is proving invaluable! Trevor and his wife Jill will be celebrating 38 years of marriage in July and are kept busy with their two dogs - a 9 year old Labrador and 18 month old Border Collie.
