Rick Meyer

As B&B's Operations Manager, Rick brings a strong foundation of general superintendent and management experience with over 25 years in the structural concrete industry. Successful in his endeavors, he blends project management with project execution and has worked effectively with every aspect of a project to get the job done safely, on time, and on budget. Working side by side with all project participants, Rick's hands-on leadership style and open communication skills help B&B maintain strong relationships with our teams and clients. Rick started his career in 2002 at general contractor company C. Rallo Contracting Co as a Superintendent where he managed all areas of structural and civil concrete. Notable completed projects include the new Cardinal Busch Stadium and Harrah's Casino and Convention Center, a 7 story Hotel and 300,000SF convention center in Metropolis Illinois. From 2007 - 2015, Rick continued his career as a Superintendent and Work Force Manager leading projects like the Facebook Regional Headquarters in Iowa and various bridge and road projects in Illinois where he supervised teams with demolition, excavation, pile driving, steel erection, road work, precast concrete, and post and panel retaining walls. During 2015 - 2018, Rick served as Superintendent and Chief of Staff at JE Dunn Construction where he was responsible for overseeing a workforce of 100 and monitoring projects from planning to completion including tasks such as bid evaluations, scheduling, and ensuring the safety and security of the construction sites. In 2018, Rick joined turnkey concrete construction company Concrete Strategies overseeing multi-million dollar projects including the True Value Distribution Warehouse in Pennsylvania, Dollar General Distribution Center in New York, and several Microsoft Datacenters.

Ryan Lakebrink

A third-generation concrete man, Ryan's roots within this industry run deep. In 2006, Ryan took over as president of Lakebrink's Custom Concrete, a family company, and managed a wide variety of residential and commercial projects throughout the Midwest. With a focused interest, experience, and an instant passion for decorative and polished concrete, Ryan quickly emerged as a major leader on decorative concrete technology. In 2017, Ryan moved to Colorado from Missouri to co-found the decorative concrete company, The Art of Concrete where he specialized in exterior decorative formwork for high-end clients in the commercial/municipal market. Ryan built this company from the ground up reaching $4 million in sales in 3 years. With a recent move back to the Midwest, Ryan brings over 20 years of experience in decorative and polished concrete to B&B Concrete. His craftsmanship and in-depth knowledge in restoration, polishing, and repair solutions coupled with his high level of commitment to his customers make him a stand-out partner. Ryan has served on the board of directors for the ASCC's Decorative Concrete Council and Concrete Polishing Council, and on the ACI Committee 310-J on Polished Concrete.
