BECA is available to anyone in the Western United States; the program requires related training through Lane Community College, which can be adapted to suit applicants who may not live close to LCC... At BECA, we care about making energy careers accessible to all. From accommodations by training agents to online classrooms and lessening financial burdens, we are doing our best to make the energy management sector available to everyone... The Building & Energy Controls Apprenticeship is a 2000 hour on the job training program that prepares students to become energy auditors, building managers and more, depending on their interests and abilities. Our program is highly accessible, and we encourage minorities, women, students, and veterans to apply. The Apprenticeship portion of our program includes an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S) degree.
