Bitupolymer Inc. provides self-adhesive Bituminous Damp Proof Course (BDPC) product for being used between foam glass blocks in cryogenic storage tanks... Briefly describing, our product is a self-adhesive membrane based on bitumen that can be simply and easily used as an insulating layer to prevent vapour permeation. The problem of providing a cheap and suitable barriers to prevent water vapour from permeation between the layers of thermal insulation (foam glass blocks) under cryogenic storage tanks is solved by our product, BDPC. The innovation of BDPC is the self-adhesion of the product without the use of another adhesive material or components and also the use of a cheap bitumen base (Vacuum bottom VB grade) and thermoplastic elastomers.
