Jerry Schneider

Jerry Schneider is a senior vice president of Bruce Facilities Planning Consultants, LLC. He is a proven strategic partner to community and business leaders who have improved their economic outcomes. Jerry has served as an economic development consultant on diverse projects since the mid-1990s. He was the primary economic development project consultant for Fluor Corporation's Government Group. Fluor Corporation is a FORTUNE 200 project management, engineering, procurement and construction company. Fluor has had a solid reputation for providing superior site selection and economic development services worldwide. As an economic development program manager, Jerry has provided a broad range of services to communities adjacent to government facilities in the U.S. and United Kingdom. He has leveraged government-funded programs, policies and assets for communities. He has experience accessing private-sector resources for local economic benefit. One of the key goals of these communities have been industrial redevelopment and reuse of government land, facilities and equipment. Jerry has participated on teams that attracted millions in new capital investment and thousands of jobs, often in regions struggling with challenging economic conditions. Other resources he used to accomplish these goals included venture capital, speculative industrial building management and marketing and direct grants. Jerry has led three Fluor public information and public affairs groups and served as a company spokesman. He has transformed public perceptions from negativity and distrust to positive and respectful, leveraging strong media relationships. As a member of numerous community, business and non-profit boards and committees, he most often served in leadership roles. Prior to his economic development consulting and public affairs work, Jerry led Fluor home office proposal development teams, winning several billion dollars in project contracts across a wide range of industries. His success led to portfolio assignments as a marketing and sales strategy trainer for Fluor.

Jim Bruce is president of Bruce Facility Planning Consultants LLC. He is a specialist in the integration of facilities and capital investments with corporate strategy and has conducted or managed more than 500 consulting assignments. Jim has been a consultant to more than 300 business planning and location projects including Toyota's first two US assembly plants, which are located in Georgetown, Kentucky, and Princeton, Indiana. Other projects include: World's largest mammalian protein manufacturing plant -- $2 billion EmbrelĀ© autoimmune drug plant, West Greenwich, R.I. United Airlines maintenance base in Indianapolis National Wind Tunnel Complex, a joint venture of NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and other major US aerospace companies Truck plant by Navistar/International in Escobedo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
