My grandmother was a Home Health Aide until she could no longer work. My mother, following in her footsteps, willingly cared for and visited the sick and shut-in when she saw a need. On numerous occasions I accompanied her as a child. Of course, back then, I didn't see the vision or the importance behind the deeds of those who came before me. However, once I became an adult the heart of service had been deeply ingrained in me.
