Brandy Pratt

Brandy is a registered nurse of 23 years with over 17 years of hospice and palliative care experience. Beginning her career in end-of-life care as a weekend on-call nurse, she quickly recognized her passion for providing quality care during this critical time for patients and families. During her tenure in hospice and palliative care, Brandy has served as a nurse case manager, clinical liaison, executive director, regional director, regional vice president and vice president. Over the years, Brandy has developed and launched multiple new hospice and palliative care programs across the country to expand access to care and services for patients. She has developed a love for creating and leading sustainable palliative care programs, focusing on developing best practices, team building, and patient advocacy. Brandy was appointed to the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization's Palliative Care Council in 2020. Brandy lives in Missouri with her husband, son, daughter, 2 dogs and her mother. She spends time on the lake with family, riding UTVs, playing piano and dancing.

Jo Lowndes

Originally from the United Kingdom, Jo studied business and finance in England while spending the early part of her career in administrative roles, from small businesses to large corporations, over diverse industries. After relocating to the US with her family in the year 2000, she found her passion in healthcare. Prior to joining Bristol Advanced Illness Management in early 2019, Jo worked in multiple medical specialties where she was able to build her practice management experience and acquired in-depth knowledge of the operations of specialist practices. As part of Bristol's leadership team, she plays a key role in the expansion and development of new and existing AIM locations, while overseeing the daily operational activities of each palliative program. Jo currently lives in Texas and spends her free time creating memories with her 2 children. She has a deep love of nature and the outdoors, enjoys travelling, photography, attending live concerts and gardening.

Shannon Shepherd

  • National Clinical Director of Palliative Care / Shannon
Shepherd FNP-BC is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years' experience in the medical field. She has worked & specialized in Palliative care the past 6 years. Shannon has helped to develop 2 home based palliative/supportive care programs in the Salt Lake area over the past 6 years. Prior to starting with BristolAIM she worked at the Huntsman Cancer Institute where she helped to develop their "Huntsman at Home program". She is published & recognized for her contributions in developing this program in the ASCO Journal (American Society of Clinical Oncology). Shannon lives with her husband John whom she has been married to for 25 years. She has 4 sons ages 24, 22, 19, and 17. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being in nature, hiking, kayaking/canoeing, gardening, cooking, reading, learning, and teaching.
