DRAGO is a fully integrated woolen mill: from careful selection of the best raw materials Drago produces internally more than 1.7 million meters of high quality fabric that exports worldwide... This superb range is woven entirely from 16.2 micron wool spun to a 104,000 yarn count. From each kilo of this finest quality wool available in a very limited supply from a handful of regions in Australia, we are able to produce 104 kilometres of yarn. Strict breeding regimes and meticulous preparation are followed to ensure the health of these merino sheep, even to the extent of putting protective covers on them to avoid environmental pollution. Only about 12,000 bales of this exclusive wool are offered for sale each season, and Vitale Barberis Canonico is the largest buyer in the world.
