Andrea Gasaway

Andrea graduated from Ball State University and holds her Series 65 Investment Advisor licensing. From day-to-day her duties include building financial plans, trading, accounting, bookkeeping, marketing, payroll and daily management of BlueSafe Financial. She was a tennis star in her younger years, but now she loves to: Spend time with her family, enjoy weekends at the lake, reading, and most recently let her children talk her into trying to raise chickens!

Jeff Gasaway

View Jeff's Story After nearly 20 years of experience in the investment and financial industry, Jeff opened BlueSafe in Lafayette, Indiana. His mission was to open a firm focused on building relationships with the clients and providing the best service under an independent platform. Jeff holds an MBA in Finance and Statistics and enjoys being able to freely help clients choose the best products available to them today. Although he is licensed in multiple facets, he primarily focuses on BlueSafe's investments, research and financial planning services.

Joyce Smith

Fun Fact: Joyce home schooled her 3 Children, Adam, Bethany, and Courtney for 11 years. Bethany and Courtney have degrees in Music and Literature, and Adam is a Ph.D in Philosphy. Joyce and her husband, Jacob, have been married for 34 years and have one "exceptional" grandchild named Jack. Joyce is our unofficial miracle worker and keeps daily operations running both focused and efficient. Along with ten years experience in the financial industry, she also holds two financial licenses and an MBA. As Senior Administrator Executive for BlueSafe, Joyce supports the CEO and leads the transition process for new Financial Advisors joining our team. Laura Zappala

Job Titles:
  • Executive Assistant
Laura is usually the first friendly face to greet our clients when they enter our offices. She has been in the financial and insurance service field for over 17 years and works closely with the entire BlueSafe Financial Team. Wearing many hats, Laura keeps our back office running efficiently and is our Multi-tasking professional. She is also a Notary Public for the state of Indiana. Laura services BlueSafe Financial clients in all states, and helps reinforce our mutual goal of striving for the best client service. When not at the office, she enjoys biking, traveling, gardening and loves to check out classic cars.
