Ed Britt - Founder

Ed Britt is a Partner and one of the Founders of BVG & Company Consulting. Before BVG, Ed served over 20 years in the U.S. Navy and, upon retirement, partnered with Mike Greene to form BVG & Company Consulting. Born out of a belief in the critical necessity of the CWMD mission and the challenges noted while working in the mission space, BVG serves to advance collaboration and capabilities across Government and alongside trusted allies and partners. While serving on active duty, Ed completed multiple combat deployments, including service in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria, and also served various tours as the Director of Operations for a Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force. He worked closely with interagency partners in advancing WMD Crisis Response capabilities and on WMD Pathway Defeat operations and R&D efforts. Additionally, before retirement, Ed served as the Commanding Officer of Expeditionary Exploitation Unit ONE (EXU-1), working alongside the Intelligence Community and allies to advance Foreign Materiel objectives. Ed was awarded numerous personal and unit awards during his service, including two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, and Combat Action Ribbon. Ed holds a BS in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy and resides with his family in Atlantic Beach, FL. They enjoy spending time together, outside and in the ocean. Co-founder of BVG & Company Consulting, translates over 20 years of U.S. Navy experience, including leadership roles in Joint Special Operations and CWMD missions, into pioneering solutions for advancing government and allied CWMD capabilities.

Mike Greene - Founder

Mike Greene is a Partner and one of the Founders of BVG & Company Consulting. Before standing up BVG, Mike served for over 25 years in the U.S. Navy. Upon retirement, Mike stood up BVG & Company Consulting to help address some friction points and inefficiencies he encountered while working interagency and whole government efforts. Mike helped build BVG into the premier CWMD consulting firm- providing services to DOE, DoD, DOJ, Industry, and Academia. While on active duty, Mike completed 14 deployments (5 combat rotations), collaborated with interagency partners on WMD Pathway Defeat and WMD Defeat efforts, and led a SOF CWMD-focused R&D directorate. During his time on active duty, Mike was fortunate to see much of the world- spending extensive time in the Middle East, Africa, INDO-PACOM, and Europe. Mike was awarded 4 Bronze Star Medals (1 with "V" designator for valorous actions), 1 Meritorious Service Medal, 1 Army Commendation Medal, 3 Navy Commendation Medals, and the Combat Action Ribbon, among other awards. Mike received an MBA from the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill) at the Kenan-Flagler School of Business and holds a BS from NIU. Additionally, Mike graduated from the Defense Language Institute (Arabic), Navy EOD School, Navy Dive School, and the Joint Special Operations Forces Senior Enlisted Academy. Mike is trilingual and able to speak at a conversational level in Arabic and Spanish. Co-founder of BVG & Company Consulting, brings over 25 years of U.S. Navy experience and multiple commendations, including 4 Bronze Stars, to leading the firm's CWMD initiatives.
