Cognition Labs brings together educational specialists, product designers, and technology innovators. Our partners and advisors include educators, content specialists, researchers, strategists, and engineers... Cognition Labs, recognizing the wide neurodiversity of the human population, designs and creates software to enhance, support and supplement reading skills for the millions of people with differences in visual, auditory or other perceptual domains... We delivered DyslexiAR for iPad to a number of Learning Specialists who work with dyslexic students. A pilot was conducted to test and refine the application for use in supported and independent, at-home, environments. The Specialists and their students were provided with the application and access to a number of grade-leveled books with the student's commitment to read for 20 minutes daily using the app. The students and Learning Specialists assessed the app's usability and the students' engagement.
