Brad Lower

Throughout his 35-year career, primarily in banking and as a digital product manager, Brad has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and a philosophy that puts users (i.e. humans) central to all activities. His career also includes business ownership, where he applies a continually evolving approach to product-market fit, ensuring that products and services are successful and resonate with customer needs and values. After earning a BS from Hampden-Sydney College and an MS from Northern Illinois University, Brad, a native of southwest Virginia who has moved often, settled in the Richmond area in 2012. His personal interests include outdoor activities, tackling home improvement projects, and engaging in hobbies where he can learn something new.

Mike Anderson

Mike has 20 plus years experience in Financial Services, working for several large banks in a variety of strategy and senior management roles across Corporate Banking, Operations, Mortgage and Customer Experience. He's also started several small businesses and is an active participant in the local start-up ecosystem. Learning about others' businesses has been a lifelong passion and is his favorite part about Upstream. A UVA alumnus, Mike has called Richmond home for the better part of 30 years. He enjoys Two Hearted Ale, analyzing data and, on a good day, can name the mascot of every Division 1 college football team.

Rachel Anderson

Rachel is a VCU grad with over 15 years of experience in public relations, marketing, and branding and messaging. She honed her marketing skills in college sports information and operations, and has worked in public relations, marketing, design, and events in the sports, wellness, and fashion industries. She's a firm believer in the power of Brand and loves the creativity and challenge of bringing your vision to life. As a Richmond native and former small-business owner, Rachel is passionate about helping the folks and locally-owned businesses who are positively impacting and shaping the city she calls home.
