Cora began to design and build bicycle racks in the early 1980's. Quick release wheels and light alloy construction of bicycles changed the needs of cyclists. With exotic materials came increased bicycle prices and cyclists looked to products which would not damage their bikes. Locking of the wheel and frame became a more common practice.
