COVID SAFETY NETWORK

From the beginning of the global COVID-19 crisis, we were faced with a massive shortage of PPE. We brought together a collective of designers, manufacturers and distributors working to create safe, sustainable PPE and cleaning products to meet this shortage. We raised money and received materials and resources to be able to deliver free, reusable PPE to those working in care homes, refugee centres and other vulnerable households as quickly as possible... To tackle the global PPE shortage, we provide organisational and logistical support to small-scale PPE manufacturers and distributors throughout Scotland. This enables us to create and deliver free COVID-19 care boxes to care homes, refugee centres and residential homes in need of protection... To tackle the massive waste problem caused by single-use PPE, we focus on sustainable solutions, creating equipment people can clean and reuse again and again. Our Re:fuse recycling service helps us close the loop on plastic production for PPE..
