Basel Murad

Basel Murad is the Chief Development Officer for Crescent Midstream. He has over 14 years of experience in the energy industry across Carbon Capture, Midstream and Exploration and Production (E&P). Prior to joining Crescent, Mr. Murad served as Senior Vice President of Finance and a member of the Founding Team of Ozona Carbon Capture & Sequestration (CCS). Prior to Ozona, Mr. Murad was Vice President of Corporate Development for EPIC Midstream, a $4.5 billion crude and NGL pipeline and export project that originated in the Permian Basin and terminated in Corpus Christi. He has also held finance and strategy positions at BlackBrush Oil & Gas and TexStar Midstream. Mr. Murad started his career in the investment banking divisions of Citigroup, RBC Capital Markets and Jefferies focused on M&A and capital markets transactions. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Canfield Business Honors Program (CBHP).

Eric Lyons

Eric Lyons is the Vice President of Engineering & Regulatory Compliance for Crescent Midstream and joined the team in 2016. Eric played a vital role to establish an in-house engineering team and basis to develop and maintain the Gulf assets. Eric built his engineering career starting at BP in the crude pipeline field in 2008, continuing through Williams extending his knowledge in natural gas cryogenics and fractionation processes. Eric has worked his way through engineering and project management roles, including maintenance engineering, facility engineering, area engineering and pipeline engineering to bring him into engineering management. Mr. Lyons holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Ferris Hussein

Ferris Hussein is a Managing Director at Carlyle focused on global infrastructure and energy opportunities. He is based in Washington, DC. Prior to Carlyle, Mr. Hussein served as a Vice President of ExxonMobil, where he oversaw acquisition strategy. Prior to ExxonMobil, Mr. Hussein served as an Attorney for the Republic of Iraq and, prior to that, for the U.S. Department of Justice. Mr. Hussein received a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of Crescent Midstream, Mr. Hussein serves on the boards of MVP Terminalling, AMP Energy, Elba Liquefaction Company, Riviera Gulf Holdings, Welligence Energy Analytics, ABANA; as a Member of the Nomination Committee of DNO ASA (OSL:DNO); and as a Member of the Investment Committee for the American University of Beirut's Endowment.

Jeremiah Ashcroft III - CEO

Jeremiah Ashcroft has served as CEO of Crescent Midstream since 2020. He has served as CEO of other Carlyle portfolio companies and has advised the firm on several transactions. Prior to Crescent Midstream, he held the role as President and CEO of EQT Midstream, which included three publicly traded midstream platforms. Mr. Ashcroft also served as CEO of Gulf Oil, took JP Energy public as COO and served as President of Buckeye Partners. He began his energy career with Colonial Pipeline Company. Mr. Ashcroft received a Bachelor of Science from the United States Naval Academy serving in the United States Marine Corps and received a Master of Business Administration from Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

John Grier - Chairman, Founder

John Grier is the Founder and Chairman of Crescent Midstream and serves as Chief Operating Officer at CorEnergy. He has been in the energy industry for more than 40 years. Prior to joining CorEnergy, he spent 17 years as the CEO of Crimson Midstream, with pipeline operations in California, Louisiana and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Grier was the President and CEO of Crimson Resource Management, a buyer and operator of oil and gas producing properties for 24 years. He is also CEO of Crimson Renewable Energy, the largest biodiesel manufacturer in California. Mr. Grier founded and was responsible for growing each of the Crimson entities. Prior to that he worked for Mobil Oil company in various engineering and management positions. Mr. Grier received a Bachelor of Science with honors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.

K. Phil Yoo - CFO

K. Phil Yoo is the Chief Financial Officer. He has over 30 years of experience in the energy, technology and financial services industries. Most recently, Mr. Yoo worked with Inspirato Incorporated where he played a key role in taking the company public through their merger with a SPAC. Mr. Yoo has over 17 years of experience in the energy industry, including serving as Chief Accounting Officer for Antero Resources Corporation, Antero Midstream Partners LP and Antero Midstream GP LP through their initial public offerings. Mr. Yoo is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Colorado, a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta.

Pete Taylor

Pete Taylor is a Managing Director and Partner in the Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund and was most recently responsible for Carlyle's leadership of the JFK Airport Terminal One redevelopment. Prior to joining Carlyle in 2016, Mr. Taylor spent 15 years at Hastings Infrastructure and ultimately served as the Global Head of Global Investments and Asset Management. Prior to that role, Mr. Taylor established Hastings' North American business. Before Hastings, Mr. Taylor served as a Manager of Structured Asset Finance at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Taylor received a Bachelor of Business in Accounting from the Queensland University of Technology.

Richard Stewart

Richard Stewart is the Vice President of Carbon Neutrality for Crescent Midstream. Most recently, Richard was the President & CEO of Geostock Sandia, which has created permitting, well, and storage solutions for the carbon dioxide industry for more than fifteen years. Prior to Geostock, Richard spent almost twenty years managing projects, engineering, and construction departments for several major oil & gas companies with annual capital budgets up to $8 billion. Richard received a Bachelor's in Physics from the University of Virginia and earned a Master's in Electrical Engineering early in his career while working for United Technologies in rocket engine development. Stewart also has a Master's of Business Administration in Finance and Operations from Northwestern University.

Robert Waldron

Robert Waldron is President and Chief Financial Officer at CorEnergy. He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy, industrial and financial industries. Prior to joining CorEnergy in 2021, he spent six years as Chief Financial Officer of Crimson Midstream before it was acquired by CorEnergy. Before joining Crimson Midstream, Mr. Waldron worked for eight years in energy investment banking at Citi and UBS where he focused primarily on capital markets and M&A in the midstream sector. Mr. Waldron began his career in corporate R&D at Dow Chemical where he focused on design and optimization of Dow's manufacturing processes. He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University.

Susan M. Ward

Susan Ward is a former 12-year Senior Executive of Shell Oil Company with over 20 years of service at retirement in 2019. Her senior roles in Shell included Head, M&A and Commercial Finance for all of Shell's businesses in theAmericas; Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Board member of Shell Midstream Partners which she took public for Shell in 2014; and Vice President, Upstream Commercial Finance, Shell International Exploration & Production B.V. while based in The Hague for Royal Dutch Shell. She also served on the Board of Directors of Shell's deepwater drillship joint venture. Prior to joining Shell in 1998, Ms. Ward worked as an investment banker in the energy sector for 11 years at Kidder, Peabody, PaineWebber and UBS in New York and Houston, including as a Managing Director in the Natural Resources and Energy investment banking group of UBS Securities. She began her career working for Exxon as a refining process engineer and worked in Mobil's Finance organization at its NYC headquarters. Ms. Ward earned a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Villanova University with honors and an MBA in Finance with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She has served on Villanova's Board of Trustees since 2018. She is a member of NACD since 2016.
