DELUXE PHYSICAL THERAPY

Dr. Matthew Shohen graduated from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a Bachelor's in Biology immediately followed by his Master's in Physical Therapy. He later returned and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Matthew completed a Sports Residency Program with Proaxis Therapy & Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in Greenville, South Carolina. After completing his residency program he became board-certified as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS). He has also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Prior to relocating to New Jersey, Matthew served for 2 years as the head Physical Therapist for the Greenville Road Warriors, a minor league hockey team affiliate of the New York Rangers. More recently, he served as the team physical therapist for the NY Jets for the 2018 season and still assists the team with their physical therapy needs. Matthew has over 15 years of clinical experience in outpatient sports and orthopedic physical therapy practice.
