Cynthia Campbell

Cynthia Campbell is the Chief Experience Officer (CXO) for BALANCE. Cynthia is a strategist, a corporate communicator, and a project executor who proactively identifies and resolves agency challenges, product development, exploration of new markets, and revenue generation opportunities. In this role, she is responsible for completion of mission-critical projects. Cynthia previously served as a VP of Innovation and Strategy at Oklahoma Central Credit Union, Director of Innovation Labs at the Filene Research institute, and VP of Financial Empowerment at Tinker Federal Credit Union. Her entire career has been focused on financial health. Cynthia currently serves on the CUNA Marketing and Business Development Advisory Board, is part of the Global Women Leadership Network, and is a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE). Cynthia holds a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from Elmhurst College in Illinois, and a master's degree in Adult Education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is passionate about financial capability, innovation, user experience, yoga, and dogs.

Darrell Christoff - CIO

Darrell Christoff is the Chief Information Officer at BALANCE, responsible for all aspects of the organization's information technology and systems. In this role, he leads IT strategic and operational planning, and oversees development and implementation of enterprise-wide IT initiatives to support BALANCE's mission. This includes the organization's internal infrastructure, as well as its various online delivery channels, and enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity planning. He joined BALANCE in 2015, bringing a track record spanning more than two decades of leveraging technology to drive organizational growth and performance. He is particularly adept at developing flexible, scalable solutions for consumer and organizational problems. Previously, Darrell was Chief Information Officer for a multi-site nonprofit health center in the Bay Area and Director of IT for a leading civil engineering/heavy construction contractor. He also created a business unit that provided IT managed services to small and medium size businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. Darrell holds a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University.

Karina Galvan-Torres

Karina Galvan-Torres is the Senior Director of Operations for BALANCE. Karina joined BALANCE in 2015 and has served our Financial Fitness Partners for the past four years. She implemented new training resources for the Partner Relations Team to ensure a standardized and successful management of partnerships, developed new procedures to make cross-departmental collaboration easier, and assisted in website development programs. She possesses extensive knowledge on our programs and capabilities and is a natural at helping partners implement financial education and counseling. In her current role, Karina is responsible for the Contact Center, Financial Fitness, Smart Money Coaching and EAP programs. She manages the departments and is tasked with evaluating and improving systems, and supporting growth through strategic planning. Karina is bilingual and holds a BS in International Relations and a BS in Spanish from Saint Mary's College of California.

Linda Davis-Demas

Linda Davis-Demas is the VP of Housing for BALANCE. She is a solution oriented experienced bilingual trainer, housing leader and collaborator. Linda is responsible for all housing counseling programs, the management of housing grants, and the oversight of BALANCE's National Affiliate Housing Counseling Network. Linda has more than a decade of experience in grants, regulatory compliance, training, quality control, financial coaching and counseling. Prior to joining BALANCE in November 2017, Linda served as Director of Client Experience, Training and Federal Grants for the national HUD intermediary of the Homeownership Preservation Foundation (HPF), Director of Quality Control and Compliance at HPF and Director of Housing at CCCS of Greater Dallas. During her tenure with HPF, she managed all Housing Grants, a network of over 400 counselors and coaches, and national counseling network. Over the last fifteen years she has served as an advocate for underserved communities, particularly the Hispanic community. As a leader in the housing counseling community, she has intimately been involved with fair housing, fair lending and consumer protection issues. Linda co-chairs the Office of Housing Counseling for the Intermediary Coalition, co-chairs DFW Housing Counseling Partnership, and has served on the Leadership committee for the Texas Housing Counseling Task Force, National Foreclosure Prevention Task Force as well as Florida State University Alumni, North Texas Seminole Club. She is a certified housing counselor, trainer, and coach. In 2014, she was awarded the Torch award from the National Urban League for her service to the Dallas-Fort Worth community. Linda holds a BS in Psychology from Florida State University and is currently working on her MBA. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and the beach.

Rico Delgadillo - CEO, President

Rico Delgadillo is the President and CEO at BALANCE. He joined the team in 2003 and brings with him more than two decades of experience in the financial wellness sector. He began his career with BALANCE as a Counselor Manager for the organization's Consumer Credit Counseling Service of San Francisco division, and successive promotions brought him to his current role, where he is responsible for more than 160 employees. Rico oversees all counseling operations and counseling service delivery for the organization's hundreds of partner organizations, including credit unions, community banks, and Employee Assistance Programs, as well as numerous government and government-related entities. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he is well-known and respected in the industry for his leadership skills and experience serving diverse communities. Previously, Rico served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for a credit counseling agency in Texas. He began his career in the United State Air Force, where he was responsible for assignment actions at the headquarters level for enlisted personnel worldwide. He is a Leadership School distinguished graduate, and Certified and Housing Counselor.

Tina Cota - CFO

Tina Cota, CPA, is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at BALANCE, responsible for managing the organization's finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. Tina comes to BALANCE with 20+ years of results-driven experience in business operations management, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting. She is a disciplined CPA- CGMA Management accountant experienced in improving internal controls, strengthening accounting procedures, delivering cost savings, and directing financial/budget analysis. Skilled in delivering accurate financial information, recommendations, advice and financial leadership to senior executives. Tina holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and has both CPA and CGMA designations. She is a past recipient of the "Philanthropy Award" from the American Cancer Society. For fun Tina enjoys baking and traveling to beachy locations.
