Originally known as Powell Motors, the business was co-owned by Derryl Henman and Graeme Powell, who also ran Nelson Lada, the second-largest Lada dealership in New Zealand. Over the years, the business evolved, incorporating Rush-In Rentals, Caravans New Zealand, and Dollarsave Auto Hoist.
