E3 TECH - Key Persons
Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by how machines work. I would wait for the radio or fridge to stop working so I could open it up and look at the inside. Sometimes I wouldn't even wait for the system to stop working before I opened them, always the trouble child.
I then pursued this interest and graduated in EEE (Electronics and Electrical engineering from VIT, India). There I created a Speed Detection system for the Indian scenario which detects the speed of vehicles on the road and captures an image of the violators using a single camera. The system can be made commercially available at a cost of Rs75000 as compared to the existing system in use by the Bangalore police which cost Rs25 Lakhs.
