Founded in 2015, ‘Ekahi Ornish Lifestyle Medicine is the largest Ornish Lifestyle Medicine program in the nation - a lifestyle modification program scientifically proven to slow or even reverse the effects of heart disease and other chronic conditions. Over the 9-week long program, our multi-specialty team of healthcare professionals will help you discover how to eat better, stress less, move more, and improve your relationships. Ornish Lifestyle Medicine is a covered benefit of most HMSA plans, as well as a few other providers in the state of Hawaii... Due to the COVID-19 virus, we have suspended our physical visits and have moved to 100% virtual visits. For our current participants of the ‘Ekahi Ornish Program, we will be using Zoom. For folks that are current participants of our ‘Ekahi Diabetes Management Program, we are using InputHealth for individual sessions and Zoom for group sessions...
