When you work in one role long enough it's easy to forgot all of the little things that go into the other roles of your colleagues. So, twice a year, everyone does the job of someone else in the company. One day out of the year the CEO (when we have a CEO) will take the role of someone else in the company and one day a year someone will take the role of CEO.
