GLOBAL DEMENTIA

The Global Dementia Observatory (GDO) Knowledge Exchange Platform (hereafter referred to as ‘the GDO KE Platform') contains key resources to support the implementation of the Global action plan on the public heath response to dementia 2017-2025 and its seven action areas. The Platform was developed to support policy makers in enhancing their countries' response to dementia by providing a space where they can find key resources that can be used to support the strengthening of policies, as well as health and social care systems, and evidence-based planning... The public health campaign "We zijn zelf het medicijn" ("We are the medicine ourselves") was developed in 2016 and 2017 with the aim of increasing awareness awareness of the relationship between modifiable risk and protective factors and dementia in Dutch people aged 40-75 years.
