2020 GOLF GOLF - Key Persons

Jim Rasmusson

Jim Rasmusson's devotion to golf started at an early age as he endeavored to not only improve every year, but his goal was to play at a professional level or at least become a PGA teaching professional. As life would have it, Jim's plans were detoured and he followed his father into the healthcare professions becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic. Keeping the golf dream alive, he enjoys all aspects of the golf industry from playing and working at the course to coaching high school golf teams. More recently, he had the opportunity to work two seasons as the Inside Lead of Golf Operations at the Rock Resort, a 27 hole professionally designed Robert Trent Jones course in Spring Green, Wisconsin. He understands hospitality, staff, event and golf course management. In addition, Jim has great experience in running all facets of business to include a healthcare practice as well as an online entertainment company serving schools, churches, city and county establishments. On a parallel course, while in college, Jim began to be trained for and to teach children in church settings, something he has been doing for three decades. Jim and his wife Cindy both love working with children and have done so in many settings, as teachers, mentors and through directing a multi grade level, Sunday school program for over 10 years. Jim has experience leading, training and facilitating teachers, assistants and other support staff. He has served as president on the board of Richland County Kinship, a non profit mentoring program for kids from single parent homes. He and his wife have a strong passion to see children, young adults and marriages grow and flourish.
