Al's roots in the construction industry run deep. Al began his construction career as a young man at the age of 16. He set out to be the best in his field and with his combination of skills, smarts and determination was quickly the foreman of the crew. Within 10 years, Al saw a need in the community and with the skill set he had accumulated, he decided to branch out and form his own company.
Al was quickly recognized as one of the best builders in the area, building a wide variety of custom homes for satisfied customers. In the downturn of the 2008 housing market, Al pivoted and began to build post frame buildings and again became quickly recognized as a premier builder of post frame structures.
With a growing family in an economic downturn Al needed to build a bigger house. While not fully realizing what it could become, Al decided to mesh a shop and living area into one building. Acting on his needs and skills he built what is now widely considered a barndominium.
Since 2009 Al has sold and built millions of dollars worth of post frame buildings and barndominiums. When Al isn't in the office you can find him surrounded with family or tending to his cattle on his farm.
Brad is a fourth generation builder specializing in post frame buildings. From a young age Brad enjoyed going to the jobsite and helping his father lay out the floor plan of a new build.
Brad joined the family building crew after receiving an education. His high IQ quickly took him from building projects into the office where he began pricing and working with clients to take their dreams and make it a reality.
Brad's hobbies include hunting, fishing, and golfing.
Jeff has a long history in the construction industry. From picking up scraps on the jobsite to being a foreman, Jeff built a reputation of having a strong work ethic.
Through the years he honed his people skills and his strong relationships quickly led him into a management role. With over 20 years experience in the field he understands the value of building quality structures through attention to details, skilled craftsmanship, exceptional customer service and going above and beyond the industry standard in providing customers with the results they want.
Jeff's enthusiasm and exuberance give him a winning personality and he uses that to bolster the company culture. Having an entrepreneural spirit, Jeff not only manages operations and finances but is also a part owner in multiple businesses.
When Jeff isn't consumed by his hectic schedule he is spending time with family, golfing or enjoying nature.
LaMonte has a rich history of helping people achieve their construction goals throughout his career. His career path has deep roots within the construction industry when he assisted his father in building decks for mobile homes at a young age. His talents eventually took him to the steel industry where he designed steel products in a fabrication shop. He has spent the last ten years managing crews and production within the poultry industry installing equipment.
His experience and diversity working in multiple industries has given him a work ethic and sharpened his skill of relating to people and their specific construction needs. Throughout his career, LaMonte has a strong reputation of building lasting relationships, willingness to listen to the needs of clients, problem solving, strong work ethic, a ready smile, relatable, and an even keeled personality.
He uses his traits as a facilitator for Graber Custom Structures in the form of our dedicated project manager to assist you in bringing your building dreams to reality.
When LaMonte isn't working, you can find him tending to his beef cattle or with his wife and two young boys who love to tag along wherever he goes.
LaMonte Kropf joined the company at the start of 2024 as a dedicated company resource for our customers.
Within the first quarter of 2024 there was skyrocketing demand for a dedicated barndominium specialist so Al Garber joined the team as a veteran in the space. Al has a long history of both building structures and owning his own business. Al believed joining forces with the energetic, passionate, and innovative thinking of young GCS leadership would benefit both himself and the company. He believed that the intellectual properties and craftsmanship of GCS coupled with his proven track record would provide the best building experience for you, the valued client.
Shawn began his career in the construction industry working two jobs in Ohio. Shawn framed houses for a large contractor during the day and worked the night shift building mini barns in a factory.
After framing houses for only a few years his character proved that he was worthy to be a foreman. After his family moved to Missouri, Shawn began building post frame buildings. While his work ethic is second to none, he takes great pride in his customer service and attention to details. His charming personality makes him a natural people person.
When Shawn isn't in the field building structures, he enjoys hunting.
