HANCOCK COUNTY FARM MUSEUM

The Hancock County Farm Museum was created in 1995 in downtown Lewisport to preserve the rich farm heritage from our community. The building was built in the early 1900s and was home to nearly everything that was important to the community, including a tractor dealership, a bank, a pharmacy as well as the Masonic Lodge and General Store. Some old farm equipment on display includes a restored Owensboro wagon and a replica of a blacksmith's shop and as well as pictures from the area from many years ago. Upstairs has the class pictures from the old Lewisport High School that is now long gone.
