I'm a natural scientist with a passion for nature and the living world. I love to discover the small and hidden things in nature and make them visible through macro photography or microscopy. I enjoy exploring our environment and therefore the preservation of habitats and biodiversity are important concerns for me... I have been a scientist in biomedical research for twenty years, working primarily in the fields of developmental biology, neuroscience, genetics, and immunology using molecular biology, biochemistry, and histology methods. I'm driven by curiosity, believe in a fact based view and the persuasiveness of data. Sound analytical skills, attention to detail, perseverance and a passion for trouble shooting and problem solving allow me to excel in scientific and data driven disciplines. I have an eye for visual harmony, which helps me present information convincingly and clearly.
