CHARLES HENRY is a founding partner of Henry & Giardina, LLP. He has practiced law in the State of Connecticut since his admission to the Bar in 1975. For a period of 20 years, he has been peer rated "AV" from Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating a lawyer can attain for his expertise and ethics, and which is given to less than 5% of attorneys practicing in Connecticut. Attorney Henry is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association where he is a member of the Estates and Probate Section. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Attorney Henry began his estate planning and estate administration practice in 1976 when he joined the firm of Gager, Henry & Narkis with its office located in Waterbury, Connecticut. In 1979 he became a partner in that firm's Estates and Trust Department. In 1990 Attorney Henry left this firm and co-founded the firm of Kernan & Henry, LLP, now Henry & Giardina, LLP, where he continues to devote most of his practice in these areas. Attorney Henry also represents clients in residential real estate matters and in various transactions for corporate clients. During his years of practice Attorney Henry has served as a member of the Board of the Trust Committee of Colonial Bank, Bank of Boston Connecticut and Webster Bank. He also served as a founding Director of Capital Management Corporation of the Northeast. Attorney Henry serves on the Board of Directors of The Eastern Company, a publicly traded company with its office in Naugatuck, Connecticut, and various other local manufacturing companies. He serves on the Board of The White Deer Rock Land Corporation and in the past has served various positions on behalf of The Waterbury Hospital, Chase Collegiate School and The Connecticut Community Foundation where he is a past President. PERSONAL Attorney Henry was born in Waterbury, Connecticut in 1949, attended McTernan School, Westminster School, Lake Forest College and Suffolk University School of Law. He is married to Lynn Franklin-Henry and they have lived at their home in Woodbury since 1978. They have two daughters, one of whom is a lawyer with a wealth management company in Boston, and the other is a counselor at The Taft School, Watertown, CT. In his spare time Attorney Henry enjoys platform tennis, tennis, golf and hiking in the Adirondacks.

CHLOÉ TAYLOR LANGER is a partner of Henry, Giardina & Langer, LLP. She has practiced law in the State of Connecticut since 2005. Attorney Langer practices in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate litigation and real estate. She provides tailored advice on the transfer of assets during life and at death. She guides her clients through the estate administration process in the Connecticut Probate Courts and represents clients in will contests and other probate litigation matters in the Connecticut Probate and Superior Courts. Attorney Langer also represents purchasers and sellers in residential real estate matters. She strives to provide clear, comprehensive and personalized legal counsel to her clients during these important life events. Attorney Langer graduated cum laude with a BA in English Literature from Skidmore College and obtained her JD from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Prior to joining Henry & Giardina, LLP, Attorney Langer's practice focused on civil litigation including medical malpractice defense, premises and liquor liability and workers' compensation. She has tried cases in the State and Federal Courts of Connecticut. Attorney Langer was born in London, England and raised in Southbury, Connecticut. She now lives in Middlebury, Connecticut with her husband and two young sons. She proudly serves as a member of the Boards of Sun, Moon & Stars, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to providing programs and support to the local Autism community, Jane Doe No More, a non-profit dedicated to empowering survivors of sexual crimes to find their voice, advance their healing and educate others, and the Woodbury Library Foundation, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to supporting the Woodbury Public Library. MICHAEL A. GIARDINA

MICHAEL A. GIARDINA is a partner of Henry & Giardina, LLP and is admitted to practice in both Connecticut (1997) and New York(1999). He is a member of the Connecticut and New York Bar Associations. Attorney Giardina is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Connecticut Chapter of NAELA, and is an active member of the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Attorney Giardina began his legal career with Ernst & Young, LLP as a Tax Consultant working in the Stamford and Hartford, Connecticut offices. While dealing with federal, as well as state and local, tax issues for corporate and partnership clientele at Ernst & Young, his time was primarily spent on maximizing the Federal Research and Development Tax Credit available for his corporate clients. In 1998, Attorney Giardina joined the firm of Kernan & Henry, LLP, now Henry & Giardina, LLP, (which was formerly Henry & Federer, LLP), where in 2005 he became a partner. Since joining the firm Attorney Giardina has dedicated his practice to Estate Planning and Estate Administration, and has become intimately familiar with the Medicaid/Title XIX eligibility rules and procedures. Attorney Giardina also represents clients in residential real estate transactions, as well as in a variety of business issues and transactions. Attorney Giardina served on the Board of Directors of and was past-President for the Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging, a private non-profit organization based out of Waterbury, Connecticut, which develops, manages, and provides comprehensive services for seniors, caregivers and individuals with disabilities in order to maintain their independence and quality of life. PERSONAL Attorney Giardina was born in Clifton, New Jersey and graduated from Clifton High School, Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey with a B.S. in Accounting, and cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law. While attending Law School, Attorney Giardina helped found the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal which is published twice a year featuring discourse on practical and theoretical issues in the field of health law and policy. Attorney Giardina lives in Cheshire with his wife, Giovanna, and three children.
