Hibou Systems is an Ontario based startup, with technology developed right here in Canada. We provide the type of service (and etiquette) you would expect from a Canadian company... Hibou Systems provides mapping and location services that are simple to use, making location data accessible to those who need it most. We specialize in asset tracking and mapping services with an intuitive user experience for a variety of applications... Hibou Systems started as an idea from a volunteer firefighter, an idea of a technology that could help save lives in emergency interventions. It was this idea that sparked a project between researchers at Ontario Tech University and the Oshawa fire department. From there Samuel and Tyler took the project through a startup incubator, where the FireNav startup won two pitch competitions. By January of 2021 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic Brayden, the volunteer firefighter who started this journey years prior, was invited by the FireNav team to start..
